Backsplash by Negar Ahkami
Have you noticed how memories change their hue and texture with time?
What was challenging and painful can now be seen as part of the bedrock of our life.
What seemed easy and pleasant offered us a chance to catch our breath.
What seemed like a steep mountain to climb now serves as the
plateau we stand upon to take in the view from above.
Pain and pleasure when held tight become burdens.
Times of stillness – when nothing seems to be happening –
are brimming with possibility.
Out of chaos emerge patterns, sparks of insight, and new life.
Letting go and letting in is how the seasons of our lives work.
During this month’s gathering, we will pause to explore and reflect on
thresholds and the unfurling of possibilities.
