“Care for your psyche…know thyself, for once we know ourselves,
we may learn how to care for ourselves.”

– Socrates

The season of gratitude and recognition

Same lesson every year
The urge to do less and be more
Become lighter and unbound
Grow more mindful of our present moment
And feel the blessings of our lives
The blessings that come in many forms

Our bodies know this
Our hearts desire this
Yet, our world fights us
Always urging us to keep doing more

Can we see that in doing less

With clear intention
We gain more?

Alone and in community
We reflect and transform
Our understanding and perspectives
Our ways and responses
And set a new course.

We have been looking
At the signs of change
How our bodies feel
What we need to let go of, and
The direction our life is taking us.

Now what?

What will our intention be
How will we honor this time, and
Who is coming with us?
